Dave Bautista took to Twitter to roast his Avengers co-star Chris Pratt over his fitness training methods on social media.
In order to get into their best shape for superhero roles in films such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame, Chris Pratt has to go through months of physical training to lose a drastic amount of weight and build muscle. Chris Pratt’s ability to improve his physique and personal health has since inspired many to follow his lead, including Andy Beal, who shared his story with Men Health’s Magazine.
Responding to Andy Beal’s Twitter post promoting his weight loss story, Chris Pratt congratulated him on his accomplishment and the Avengers star noted that he has been inspired by this fan as well. Not long after, Dave Bautista responded to Chris Pratt’s post by sharing hilarious before-and-after photos of himself, with the latter photo featuring a semi out of shape Bautista. In the message accompanying the photos, Dave Bautista jokingly states that this is how he looks after six weeks of training like his Avengers co-star.

Dave Bautista and Chris Pratt are expected to reprise their respective roles as Drax and Star-Lord in the third Guardians of the Galaxy film. While production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was scheduled to begin early this year, the project was put on hold following the decision to remove James Gunn as the director of the final chapter in the trilogy. Now, Gunn will begin production on the third Guardians film after completing work on The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros. and DC.
In the meantime, fans can still catch Dave Bautista and Chris Pratt’s latest MCU appearances in Avengers: Endgame.
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for the latest news on Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
