‘Superman’ Set Photo Reveals A Hidden Detail On David Corenswet’s DC Universe Suit

A DC detail detective!

It’s all about the details! A new Superman set photo gives fans a look at an as-of-yet hidden detail on David Corenswet’s suit in the DC Universe.

Fans have been fawning over every inch of David Corenswet’s Superman suit ever since it was first revealed. However, every set photo from the DC Universe production seems to unveil another hidden detail. Today is no exception, with the newest pic revealing the hidden House of El crest on the backside of his cape!

While the logo is a staple of most Superman costumes, it was all but absent from any set photo of David Corenswet prior to this point. It seems his DC Universe suit will be a blend of multiple incarnations of the character, as no prior suit has had all of these details put together in one package.

The Small Details Of Superman

David Corenswet’s costume isn’t the only part of Superman filled with small details. DC Studios co-head James Gunn has been leaving easter eggs all across the set for fans to dissect. One obscure one was recently found on a set photo of a bus stop, advertising the fictional drink known as Soder Cola.

Soder Cola originally debuted in Superman’s Action Comics run back in 1991. While it’s not likely David Corenswet will be cracking open a can of bubbly in costume, these details go a long way in making this incarnation of the DC Universe feel truly lived in. Let’s just hope the next set photo shows off Zesti Cola!

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
