Arrow star David Ramsey offered an interesting update on the Green Lantern tease at the end of the series finale.
It’s been teased for sometime that Arrow star David Ramsey could become a Green Lantern in the Arrowverse, with John Wesley Shipp’s version of The Flash even pointing out that he wasn’t wearing his “ring” in last year’s Elseworlds crossover. But after the Arrow finale ended with David Ramsey’s John Diggle seemingly receiving a Green Lantern ring, it looks like there’s still more to come from the character in the Arrowverse. When speaking to press after the finale, Arrow star David Ramsey hinted that fans might get to see John Diggle’s future as a Green Lantern.
“We’ll still see, believe it or not.”
The Arrow finale also saw Diggle mention he’s moving to Metropolis with Lyla and their children, so it’s not impossible that David Ramsey might crossover into the upcoming Superman & Lois show. Unless David Ramsey’s John Diggle isn’t patrolling the universe as a Green Lantern, that is. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim also touched on the impressive ending for the Arrow finale, noting that that they couldn’t reveal anything to do with the Green Lantern reference since they closely negotiated the moment with DC.
“This was something that was worked out over a year ahead with DC Entertainment. We very specifically negotiated and discussed the parameters and I feel like to say anything beyond what we have showed you would violate our agreement with DC.”
