A new Arrowverse show titled Justice U is in development at the CW with Arrow star David Ramsey in the lead role.
Two years ago, the first show in what became known as the Arrowverse, Arrow, officially ended. The finale came right after the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event which saw Stephen Amell’s titular character die and the universe forever reshaped. Since then there many have wondered what is in the future for Oliver Queen’s friends and loved ones. Particularly, people are interested in where David Ramsey’s John Diggle is going.
For some time it has been teased that a Green Lantern future was in store for David Ramsey’s John Diggle. The Arrow series finale teased at the character joining the corps but the actor himself has stated that whatever was being hinted at was turned down. But now it appears that the actor will be leading a new team.
According to a new report from Deadline, a new Arroverse show titled Justice U is currently in development with David Ramsey in the lead. The show will focus on Ramsey’s John Diggle recruiting five younger superheroes and training them to become the next generation of superheroes. If the show is picked up, the actor himself will direct the pilot.
