Lanterns is finally here! DC Studios give fans their first look at the highly-anticipated Green Lantern series ahead of its first trailer releasing online.
Fans have been waiting for literal months to see anything out of the upcoming Lanterns series. However, with DC Studios pushing back the debut of the Green Lantern-focused project from early this year to sometime toward the end of summer, marketing too has been held back in order to not build momentum too early.
Yet with spring right around the corner, it seems as though DC Studios is ready to start hyping up Lanterns. A short teaser was released giving fans their first official look at the Green Lantern ring that will be used in the series, along with confirmation that the first trailer for the project will be making its debut online sometime tomorrow.

James Gunn Teases Lanterns Inspriations
Yet this teaser wasn’t the only thing DC Studios put out about Lanterns today. James Gunn himself also made a post hyping up tomorrow’s trailer, which included a look at a number of Green Lantern comics that seemingly inspired the series. Perhaps the most interesting of which is the Green Lantern/Green Arrow duo book.

Of course, this is the first Green Lantern comic that John Stewart appeared in, so that’s likely why James Gunn included it in the line-up. However, given how much speculation there has been that Green Arrow will appear in Lanterns, it’s likely this post will only fuel discourse about the hero appearing in the series.
