The DC Universe has released a set of new images of that show Brec Bassinger’s Stargirl in action for the new upcoming series.
Today has been a bit of a big day for Stargirl. Earlier today it was revealed that the upcoming DC Universe show would premire on both The DC Universe and The CW this May. Before that, however, the character briefly appeared in the CW Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. In the crossover, it was established that the upcoming DC Universe show would be taking place on Earth-2.
Now the DC Universe seems more comfortable sharing more images of Stargirl and has revealed a set of new images that show Brec Bassinger’s new superhero in action. Sadly the Stargirl images do not show us anything we haven’t already seen and seem to come from the trailer that was released earlier this year. You can see the full images below:

Here is the official synopsis for Stargirl:
High school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new DC Universe series reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in a fun, exciting and unpredictable series premiering in 2019, produced by Warner Bros. Television, Mad Ghost Productions and Berlanti Productions.
Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitemore, Joel McHale as Starman, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, and Meg DeLacy as Cindy Burman. The series also stars Amy Smart, Trae Romano, Cameron Gellman, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Jake Austin Walker, Christopher James Baker, and Hunter Sansone. Geoff Johns will write and executive produce the 13-episode first season of Stargirl while Sarah Schechter and Arrowverse boss Greg Berlanti will also serve as executive producers on the series.
Stargirl is scheduled to debut on DC Universe and The CW in 2020.
