Brand new images from the set of Deadpool 3 seem to be coming out every day thanks to their newest set of scenes filming outside. This newest batch, shared by DailyMail, shows off Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine baring his claws in a fight against Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson.
A different set of photos already revealed that Hugh Jackman would brawl Ryan Reynolds at some point in Deadpool 3. This batch depicts Wolverine finally releasing his claws in his comic-accurate suit, filling comic fans with that warm sense of nostalgia that Marvel Studios loves to chase:
This fight scene serves as a fun echo to the last time Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds fought as Wolverine and Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Back then the best comic fans could get was two shirtless Canadians in jeans, and Wade Wilson had his mouth sewn shut! The insanity of Marvel films has only gotten crazier, and it seems as though fans couldn’t be happier!

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
