A new report reveals the production start date and main shooting location of Deadpool 3.

The highly-anticipated third installment of the Deadpool series is set to start production this Spring. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Marvel threequel is being shot in the United Kingdom, marking the first time that the series has filmed in the location.

Ryan Reynolds is reprising his role as Wade Wilson, a.k.a Deadpool. The actor is being joined by none other than Hugh Jackman, who is back as Wolverine for the first time since 2017’s Logan. The Crown breakout Emma Corrin is also on board in an undiscoled role, playing a villain.

Plot details for Deadpool 3 are being kept under wraps, but rumors have circulated that the film will explore the idea of the Merc with the Mouth traveling through different timelines and dimensions. This could open the door for the character to interact with other Marvel heroes, or even revisit events from past films in the X-Men franchise.

The first two Deadpool movies were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio’s acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. Deadpool 3 is being written as the first movie in the series set within the Marvle Cinematic Universe.

Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.

Deadpool 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
