Hugh Jackman is one of the biggest smoke shows in Hollywood. He can act, dance, and, most importantly, throw you across the room. It’s no wonder Marvel wants to tap into that energy to help promote Deadpool and Wolverine. However, it seems the studio did it with a crossover nobody expected, but everyone secretly wanted.
To help promote the newest season of The Bachelorette, Marvel shoved Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds back into their suits for Deadpool and Wolverine. The TV spot is filled with jabs at modern slang, jazzy music, and all the Jackman cake fans have been begging for. The full ad, including new footage for Deadpool and Wolverine, can be seen below:
Deadpool And Wolverine’s Many Crossovers
Somehow, Ryan Reynolds extorting the internet’s love for Hugh Jackman’s badonkadonk to promote The Bachelorette isn’t the strangest crossover to come out of Deadpool and Wolverine‘s promotional tour. Marvel also released an ad where the Merc with a Mouth steals Wolverine’s claws to make two cans of Heineken, answering once and for all why the iconic light beer tastes like a sweaty old man.
These ads prove Marvel has a hit on their hands. Usually, brand crossovers help promote the film. However, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have such massive starpower that Deadpool and Wolverine is now bolstering brands like Heineken and The Bachelorette. Let’s just hope this trend of titillating TV spots continues once Pedro Pascal enters the MCU as Mister Fantastic!
