Is Wesley Snipes actually going to be in Deadpool and Wolverine? A new rumor suggests Blade will have much more than a cameo in the film!
With how much Deadpool and Wolverine is celebrating Marvel before the MCU, fans have been hoping that Blade would be making some sort of cameo in the film. Wesley Snipes’ take on The Daywalker is one of the most iconic in all of comic book media, with his three movies being some of the most defining action projects of the early 2000s.
However, Ryan Reynolds infamously has bad blood with Wesley Snipes following the filming of Blade: Trinity, leaving many fans resigned to the idea that a cameo was completely off the table. However, it seems Deadpool and Wolverine just keeps pulling off miracles, with a new rumor suggesting Snipes will be much more than an easter egg.
Blade’s Role In Deadpool And Wolverine
This rumor comes from Hollywood insider DanielRPK. Apparently, not only will Wesley Snipes appear as Blade in Deadpool and Wolverine, but he’ll also be sticking around as a supporting character for a decent chunk of the film’s runtime. This is surprising, given it would mean Ryan Reynolds and Wesley Snipes would have to be on set together for a decent chunk of time!
This aligns with recent rumors that Blade would be a member of a resistance team against Cassandra Nova in Deadpool and Wolverine. Given Wade Wilson would likely be against joining the militia at first, it would make sense to recruit Wesley Snipes to have an adversarial relationship with Ryan Reynolds!
