Are Deadpool and Wolverine finally making their return? A new report reveals if Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are set to make an appearance in Avengers: Doomsday.
To say that Deadpool and Wolverine was a success is an understatement. The film singlehandedly showed many fans that had checked out of the Marvel ecosystem that the franchise still had the sauce to put out blockbusters that succeed at the box office. Which left many confused when the film’s stars, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, were left out of the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal.
Of course, there were plenty of big names that were left out of the Avengers: Doomsday roll call, such as Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. However, given how recent Deadpool and Wolverine was at the time of the reveal, it seemed like the perfect time to capitalize off that and confirm Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman for the film.
Are Deadpool and Wolverine In Avengers: Doomsday?
Deadpool and Wolverine was recently in the news once more when it came out that the film’s budget was much higher than anyone had assumed up to this point. However, within the report put out by Forbes was a surprising detail. Specifically, the article seemed to confirm that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds would return for Avengers: Doomsday.
In addition to Avengers: Doomsday, the report also suggests that the Deadpool and Wolverine co-stars will both return for Secret Wars in 2027. While certainly not shocking given how big of names both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are, it’s a relief to finally have some sort of official confirmation of their roles in the film. Hopefully they’re not reduced to a mere cameo!
