Deadpool Crosses Over $300 Million In Domestic Box Office

Deadpool must be swimming in a pool of Chimichangas right about now as his film continues to make new big box office records. Let’s remember, this film came out less than 30 days ago and it has already made big numbers. Deadpool has officially crossed over $300 million in the domestic box office as it currently is at $311. Internationally, it has crossed over $362 million, which combined with the domestic numbers, brings Deadpool’s worldwide box office numbers up to $673 million.

Even before the film came out and made all these big box office splashes, FOX had already given the Merc with the Mouth a sequel as it is currently in development. Director Tim Miller is currently in negotiations to return to direct the sequel and the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are already set to return for writing the second installment. We know that Cable is supposedly being added along with, revealed by Heroic Hollywood’s own Umberto Gonzalez, Neena Thurman a.k.a. Dominio.

“Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Forces operative who now works as a mercenary. His world comes crashing down when evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) tortures, disfigures and transforms him into Deadpool. The rogue experiment leaves Deadpool with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With help from mutant allies Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Deadpool uses his new skills to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”

Deadpool starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Ed Skrein Francis/Ajax, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, is now out and playing in theaters.
