Deborah Ann Woll Posts Emotional Response To ‘Daredevil’ Cancelation

Actress Deborah Ann Woll took to Twitter to open up about the cancelation of Marvel’s Daredevil.

Deborah Ann Woll has played fan-favorite character Karen Page since season 1 of the Marvel Netflix series Daredevil, which debuted in 2015. The character became an essential part of the series and of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in general.

Much like all of the canceled Marvel Netflix shows, it’s possible for any of these characters to appear in The Punisher season 2 and Jessica Jones season 3, but no official announcements have been made just yet. However, Woll took to Twitter to post an emotional response about walking away from the series and from the friends she made on set. Check out what Woll had to say in the post below.

Given the very positive response to Daredevil season 3 from fans and critics alike, the news of its cancelation was somewhat of a shocker. Unfortunately, the viewership numbers were significantly down from season 2, which debuted in 2016 and introduced fan-favorite characters Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), a.k.a. The Punisher, and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung).

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Daredevil as soon as more information becomes available. Which Marvel Netflix series are you most disappointed to see get canceled? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.

Daredevil season 3 stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Jay Ali, and Lesley Ann Warren.

Daredevil season 3 is currently available to stream on Netflix.
