Filming on the upcoming Star Wars series following Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor has reportedly wrapped.

Many of the Star Wars television projects to date have had quick productions. The Book of Boba Fett completed filming a few months back, and Obi-Wan Kenobi is either finished already or close to it. Andor, starring Diego Luna, started production before both of those projects.

A sizzle reel released last year teased Andor is taking a different approach by using more sets and locations than what’s been done with StageCraft for The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan-Kenobi, and The Book of Boba Fett. Production started back in November 2020 and faced some hiccups along the way because of COVID-19, like so many other projects. However, after many months, Bespin Bulletin reports Andor is now finished filming in the United Kingdom.

Andor will explore the early days of the rebel years before his death in Rogue One. Tony Gilroy is the showrunner on the upcoming series, which stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly.

Diego Luna first portrayed Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Here is the synopsis:

Directed by Gareth Edwards from a screenplay co-written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy based on a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta, Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
