Avengers: Doomsday merch is starting to hit store shelves! Fans are getting a hands-on peek at what Robert Downey Jr. will look like as Doctor Doom.
There have been shockingly few slip-ups when it comes to actual leaks for Avengers: Doomsday. The closest fans have really gotten is some promo art for major events internationally that have showcased the suit Robert Downey Jr. will wear as Doctor Doom. Yet even still, actual renders, posters, and model shots have been kept close to the chest.
Yet given that Avengers: Doomsday was originally set to release in May, it seems as though merch has begun to trickle onto store shelves due to the shifted timeline. Perhaps the most interesting of this merchandise is a keychain that features Doctor Doom, giving fans a new look at how Robert Downey Jr. will appear inside the suit.

Doctor Doom’s Look In Avengers: Doomsday
Despite how low-quality the merch is, it seems as though this is the same Doctor Doom costume that was spotted at Disney promotional events – essentially confirming that it is what Robert Downey Jr. will be wearing in Avengers: Doomsday. And while it seems to be a bog-standard adaptation of the comics, there are some interesting details to glean.
Namely, this merch and the supplemental promo art show that Marvel Studios decided to forgo the rivets around the mouth, instead using them to line the face of Doctor Doom’s mask. The whole thing is also much flatter, with the mouth less recessed and the nose less protruding, likely done for the comfort of Robert Downey Jr. while wearing the mask.
