DC will be releasing the first three episodes of Doom Patrol season one for free on YouTube ahead of season two.
Doom Patrol is one of the most bizarre pieces of comic book television we’ve ever had after just one season. For season two, Doom Patrol will not just be on DC Universe, but on HBO Max as well. We had the chance to review season two and so far, the show continues to be a wild delight and on par with the first.
When Doom Patrol season two arrives next week, the first three episodes of that season will be made available on the same day. If you haven’t checked out the first season yet, DC announced on Twitter that they will be releasing the first three episodes for free this Monday on YouTube.
We're celebrating the upcoming Season 2 premiere of @DCDoomPatrol on @HBOMax by giving you the first 3 episodes of Season 1 FOR FREE on YouTube! See how it all began on 6/22, then head to @HBOMax and @TheDCUniverse to watch Season 2 on 6/25! #DoomPatrol pic.twitter.com/lbkHfNWx9P

Here is the official synopsis for the first season:
DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
The series stars Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.
Doom Patrol season two arrives on June 25. The 13-episode first season is now available on DC Universe. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all things DCTV and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
