The final trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune is filled with action-packed moments that will make you wish it was October 22nd already.

It’s the final stretch for Dune. Warner Bros. released the final trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s sci-fi epic, which is adapted from Frank Herbert’s seminal novel. The film opened up overseas last month to extremely positive reviews and stellar receipts from the box office, posing Dune to be one of the biggest films of the year.

The final trailer is extremely heavy on story so if you want to go in as blind as possible, it’s best to skip this one. If you’re still interested, the latest trailer points out the conflict the planet Arrakis is facing, as well as Timothee Chalamet’s Paul and his visions of Chani, played by Zendaya.

The trailer is filled to the brim with action-packed sequences, confirming once again that Dune is more than just a meditative, philosophical sci-fi film. Some of the key moments from the trailer include Chalamet’s Paul being trained and a huge battle sequence on Arrakis.

Here is the synopsis for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune:

Set in the distant future, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides whose family accepts control of the desert planet Arrakis. As the only producer of a highly valuable resource, control of Arrakis is highly contested among the noble families. After Paul and his family are betrayed, the story explores themes of politics, religion, and man’s relationship to nature as Paul leads a rebellion to restore his family’s control of Arrakis.

Denis Villeneuve directed Dune from a script he co-wrote with Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts. The film stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard, Charlotte Rampling, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, and David Dastmalchian.

Dune arrives in theaters and on HBO Max on October 22, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming film, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
