Echo is an upcoming Disney Plus series following Maya Lopez’s new journey in the MCU. A newly revealed synopsis for the series reveals Kingpin’s role in the show and confirms the appearance of Charlie Cox as Daredevil.

It’s no secret that Kingpin was going to make his return in Echo. Aside from all of the leaks and rumors around the Disney Plus show, the ending of Hawkeye clearly set up Wilson Fisk as an influential figure in Maya Lopez’s life. A new synopsis from the United States Copyright Office confirms his influence on her journey:

“Marvel Studios presents Echo in which Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) struggles to reconnect with her Native American roots while balancing aspirations tied to a life of crime as successor to the brutal legacy of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) aka Kingpin. In the first episode, we are introduced to Maya Lopez and her struggles.”

The synopsis also includes a large portion of the cast for Echo. Joining Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin is Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Chaske Spencer as Henry, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Graham Greene as Skully, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Bonnie, and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez.

Where Echo lies within the MCU

Serving as executive producers on Echo are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre, and Jason Gavin, while Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth will serve as co-executive producers.
