Is Foggy Nelson finally making his return? Elden Henson reveals if he’ll reprise his iconic role heading into season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again.
One of the most shocking elements of Daredevil: Born Again was the death of Foggy Nelson at the hands of Bullseye. Elden Henson was a constant, grounding force for the series. And even as the days grow closer to season 2 than season 1, fans are still left saddened by the fact that he won’t be making a return for the next outing for the Man Without Fear.
However, early developmental reports for Daredevil: Born Again suggests that the new creative team’s hands were tied when it came to the death of Foggy Nelson. This has led some to speculate that they plan to bring the character back during the events of season 2, cementing Elden Henson as a main member of the cast once more- potentially through a resurrection pit!
Is Foggy In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
With the cast of Daredevil: Born Again currently running the convention gamut, fans were able to ask Elden Henson if there are actually any plans for Foggy Nelson to make a return in season 2. Sadly, it seems as though the series plans to continue trucking on without everyone’s favorite avocado at law, with the actor stating “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s just not happening,” (via ComicBookMovie.com)
Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time a Marvel actor lied about their return. Krysten Ritter herself, who’s set to reprise her role as Jessica Jones in season 2, denied reports of being in Daredevil: Born Again until the trades confirmed it. So while it may not be likely, there’s still a chance Elden Henson rides as Foggy Nelson once more!
