Universal has released a new awesome TV spot for Elisabeth Moss’ upcoming film, The Invisible Man.
2017’s The Mummy was sadly a critical and commercial disappointment, forcing Universal to rework their plans for the Dark Universe. While most of these films seem to have been put on hold and/or canceled, they opted to go forward with a new version of The Invisible Man under Blumhouse Productions with Elisabeth Moss starring.
This new version of The Invisible Man shows a decidedly different take on the material, with the titular character portrayed as an abusive psychopath who turns invisible simple to further torture his former girlfriend. Now Universal has released a new TV spot for Elisabeth Moss’ The Invisible Man which lets us know what you expect.

“Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss (Us, Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale”) stars in a terrifying modern tale of obsession inspired by Universal’s classic monster character.
“Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid).
“But when Cecilia’s abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
Written and directed by Leigh Whannell, The Invisible Man stars Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, Harriet Dyer, Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Leigh Whannell will also co-produce the film alongside Jason Blum, who is producing the reboot under his Blumhouse Productions banner.
The Invisible Man is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 28, 2020.
