Schitt’s Creek Star Emily Hampshire expressed her interest in playing She-Hulk or Spider-Woman.
Marvel Studios’ plans for the 4th phase of its cinematic universe include a She-Hulk series for Disney Plus. Meanwhile, over at Sony, plans for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse were said to involved the Marvel Comics character Jessica Drew, a.k.a. Spider-Woman.
While fans undoubtedly have ideas about who could play She-Hulk and Spider-Woman, Schitt’s Creek star Emily Hampshire has expressed her interest in both roles. During an interview with ComicBook.com, Emily Hampshire reiterated her willingness to play Spider-Woman:
“I would love to do that. I didn’t know where that came from, but wherever it came from, I agree and I like it. I would be just good at it. I would be so into that.”
Emily Hampshire noted that she would also be interested in playing She-Hulk, a character she has seemingly became a fan of after researching the heroine:
“The only other one I can think of is — I’d be very into playing She-Hulk. I know that’s happening, I’ve been hearing something about that. I didn’t realize that — I looked up the comic book and I didn’t realize she was such a… You think of She-Hulk and muscles and stuff, but the person who’s behind it is just such a cool character. So that, or I’d just love to play a comic book character. I think that would be the coolest thing.”
