Emily VanCamp is set to return as Sharon Carter for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series on Disney+.
During the Marvel Studios portion of D23’s Disney+ panel, it was officially announced that Emily VanCamp would return as Sharon Carter for The Falcon and Winter Soldier series. Emily VanCamp was last seen as Sharon Carter in Captain America: Civil War and fans have long awaited her return, so the Disney+ series is the perfect opportunity.

Kari Skoglan is reportedly directing all six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from scripts penned by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad. The series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Daniel Brühl with a scheduled Fall 2020 release on the Disney Plus streaming service. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier were last seen in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the official synopsis for that movie:
