New set photos reveal the latest look at Emma Stone and Joel Fry in Disney’s Cruella.
Disney’s continuing line-up of live-action remakes or reimaginings includes a film centered on 101 Dalmations villainess Cruella de Vil. However, Disney’s Cruella will serve as an origin story to the villain before her infamous kidnapping of the pups, with Joel Fry as Jasper and Emma Stone as the eponymous fashion designer.
Now, Daily Mail has shared new photos from the set of Cruella that reveal a glimpse at Emma Stone and Joel Fry’s outfits for the Disney film. Taken in London’s Hatton Garden district, the Cruella photos show Emma Stone wearing a blonde cropped wig and an ensemble that includes a leopard print jimper, a mini skirt, and semi-sheer tights. Co-star Joel Fry was seen wearing a three-piece suit and a checked jacket.

Based on a novel by Dodie Smith, the original 101 Dalmatians centered on the eponymous group of pups as they attempted to find their way home after being kidnapped by Cruella De Vil and her cohorts, who wanted to skin them to make a new fur coat. In 1996, Disney remade the film as a live-action feature with acclaimed actress Glenn Close as Cruella.
Directed by Craig Gillespie from a script Tony McNamara, Disney’s Cruella stars Emma Stone, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Emma Thompson.
Disney’s Cruella is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 23, 2020.
