New photos taken from the set of Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series hint at a classic Star Wars location.
With work currently underway on Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series, new set photos have arrived revealing the first look at a classic location from the original Star Wars trilogy. The highly-anticipated series has amassed an impressive list of stars, with the likes of Kumail Nanjiani and Sung Kang coming to the Star Wars universe. Although it’s not quite exactly clear when in the timeline that series will take place, it obviously takes place well after Revenge of the Sith but some time before A New Hope.
The new photos which arrived online from StarWarsTime.net via Bespin Bulletin on Instagram reveal part of the Obi-Wan Kenobi set, seemingly showing off the ageing Jedi’s hut on Tatooine that briefly appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope. It comes soon after other set photos from Ewan McGregor series teased Owen and Beru Lars’ Tatooine home, where Luke Skywalker was raised as a child. Take a look at the set photos below
