Eyes of Wakanda is looking pretty peak! The first trailer for the animated anthology series has been revealed ahead of its Disney Plus debut.
Eyes of Wakanda has been an odd sheep ever since it was revealed. The project was confirmed to be a limited anthology series exclusively for Disney Plus, which focuses on the history and stories of the heroes of Wakanda prior to the modern era. It’s an interesting premise, even if most people weren’t sold on it upon hearing about it initially.
The first trailer for the project has certainly changed the internet’s tune, however. Eyes of Wakanda seems to be a visual spectacle, fully leaning in to the benefits of being an anthology series on a high profile streamer like Disney Plus. The Secrets In Eyes Of Wakanda
Given Eyes of Wakanda is an original anthology story for Disney Plus, there’s not much that can be gleamed from the trailer. However, eagle-eyed fans did spot an ancient variant of the Iron Fist, marking the character’s first appearance in the MCU since Finn Jones’ portrayal of Danny Rand in the Netflix Defenders Saga
However, what can be gleamed is that Eyes of Wakanda will be taking fans far and wide to tell the stories of the country’s heroes throughout history. Even though the anthology will likely be confined to one season on Disney Plus, that allows it plenty of room to explore such a rich premise, and perhaps win an Emmy while they’re at it!
