Fans have been eagerly awaiting any look at the upcoming live-action Fallout series coming to Amazon Prime. Early images from the series seemed promising, giving picture-perfect depictions of Power Armor and Gouls. Every promise from those early looks seems to be fulfilled, with the first trailer bringing fans into the wild wastelands they’ve grown to love:
Not much is known about the story of this live-action Fallout series. While it won’t be adapting any iconic storylines from the games, like those of the Capital Wastelands or New Vegas, the story will remain canon to the universe of the games. With how perfectly the Amazon Prime series seems to be adapting the world so far from the trailer, it seems to be yet another feather in their cap of amazing original series!

The Fallout video game series was created by Interplay Entertainment, but Bathesda acquired the rights to the project’s intellectual property back in 2007. The last entry in the series, Fallout 76, was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks to mixed reviews. It was released in 2018.
Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy serve as executive producers for Amazon Prime’s live-action Fallout series. The show also stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more.
