Writer and artist Michael Vincent Bramley believes he deserves credit for Once Upon A Deadpool due to a tweet from last year.
It was a surprise to many fans when Fox revealed they would release a PG-13 Deadpool 2 this Christmas and using Fred Savage as a Princess Bride framing device. Bramley recently brought to light a tweet of his from last year suggesting The Princess Bride framing device idea if Marvel Studios forced a PG-13 Deadpool because of the upcoming Disney-Fox deal:
@VancityReynolds If Marvel forces you to make a PG-13 Deadpool, just copy the framing device from The Princess Bride and have Deadpool censoring it for Fred Savage as a bedtime story. A kidnapped adult Fred Savage. There, I fixed it.

With Once Upon a Deadpool hitting theaters next month, Bramley went on to tweet about how similar his pitch is to the finished product and shared an article of Ryan Reynolds saying he came up with the idea for the film months after his tweet:
Sooo… I tweeted the exact plot of the new 'Once Upon A Deadpool' PG version of #Deadpool2 at Ryan Reynolds almost a year ago and it somehow wound up in a movie without me knowing. #deadpool #ryanreynolds #xmen #movies #OnceUponADeadpool #fredsavage #marvelmovies #mcu pic.twitter.com/tTMHwh2A1a

This article says @VancityReynolds pitched this earlier in the year after DP2 was released. Months after I tweeted him. https://t.co/XI1yTRg4LS
