‘Once Upon A Deadpool Trailer’ Pokes Fun At Fox Marvel Films

Deadpool Fox MarvelThe new trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool included a joke at the expense of Fox and the studio’s Marvel films.

Deadpool 2 will return to theaters this holiday season with a PG-13 version that includes new footage of a kidnapped Fred Savage being told the film’s story by the titular hero. Now, 20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the re-release that concludes with Savage telling the Merc with a Mouth that he prefers Marvel movies. When Deadpool reminds the actor that ‘we are Marvel,’ Savage responds with a dig at the studio: “Yeah, but you’re… you know, Marvel licensed by Fox. It’s like if The Beatles were produced by Nickelback. It’s music, but it sucks.”

Once Upon a Deadpool will be released in theaters on December 12 for a limited engagement that concludes on Christmas Eve.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Directed by David Leith from a script written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy.

Deadpool 2 is now available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.

The same way Alastor Moody came back in OOF I want Colin back for the simple fact that Craves (the real one) seems to be a powerful auror if Grindewald’s “interpretation” of him is anyway accurate and also the fact the Graves apparently was/is the head of the auror at MACUSA. Just like Alastor is never bad to have a bad-ass wizard around when fighting dark wizards.
