Is Finn Jones finally making his return to the MCU? The actor teases he may be playing Iron Fist once more in his latest post on social media.
There’s been a lot of hype in recent years when it comes to the Netflix’s crop of Marvel actors making their way into the MCU. Fans have long celebrated the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher- with many hoping that Mike Colter is on his way as Luke Cage. However, the one actor who seems to be left on the wayside in all of these conversation is Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist.
It’s no secret as to why Finn Jones is often left out of these discussions. Iron Fist is largely considered one of the first truly “bad” projects to come out of the modern age of the MCU. In addition, there was a lot of controversy around Jones taking on the role in the first place, with reports coming out that he slacked on training for a heavily martial arts based character.
Is Finn Jones Coming Back As Iron Fist?
Though while fans aren’t exactly calling for Finn Jones to return, that doesn’t mean he won’t. The actor recently made a post on social media highlighting a glowing dojo sign. This has many fans convinced that the actor is teasing a chance to reprise the role of Iron Fist, likely in Daredevil: Born Again or a related project.

If Finn Jones does return as Iron Fist, it’ll be interesting to see how or if the character is changed for the modern age of the MCU. Given how controversial the hero was when he first appeared in the Netflix series, it wouldn’t be shocking if Marvel gave him a major overhaul when heading into a new batch of shows on Disney Plus.
