Last JediThe teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi dropped earlier today and fans have been praising it endlessly. The trailer featured many of our heroes returning to the action, including Rey, Poe Dameron, and everyone’s favorite droid BB-8. One hero we didn’t get to see much of in the teaser was Finn, who is seen resting in a chamber as he heals from the wounds he acquired during The Force Awakens. John Boyega spoke to Fandango and assured fans that his role in the film would be physical, unlike his comatose state in the teaser.

“Yeah very physical, very physical,” “He’s on a new mission, there’s a new goal now. The Resistance is under immense pressure. The First Order is back and badder than ever, and it requires Finn to make a choice as to what side he’s on.”

Boyega also spoke on how much combat he’ll have in the upcoming film.

“Finn has some combat in this one, and it’s going to be really interesting and people are going to love it,”

Lastly, he stated what his favorite moment in the trailer was.

Rey’s hands on the floor, with the stones vibrating up. It shows that her powers have grown.”
