Fans have been eagerly waiting for any news they could get about Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel has kept the upcoming Disney Plus series close to their chest. However, with the release window for the show now revealed, the studio is playing it a bit more loose. Which includes a trailer for the project exclusive to D23.
The trailer holds a surprising amount of detail about Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel unveiled two new characters making their Disney Plus debut in the footage: White Tiger and Muse. Both of these vigilantes were rumored to appear in the project based on prior rumors. However, this is the first official confirmation of their role in the series.
Who is Muse in the pages of Marvel Comics?
Created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, Muse made a memorable debut in 2016’s Daredevil (Vol. 5) #11. As a sociopathic serial killer and a minor antagonist in Marvel Comics, Muse presents a unique challenge to Daredevil. His belief in transforming victims into art through their blood and remains has marked him as a disturbing figure in the comic book world and makes him an ideal fit for the gritty tone of Daredevil.
Given the rumored casting of Hunter Doohan, Daredevil: Born Again is likely to delve deeper into Muse’s backstory and possibly his true identity.
