Ron Howard has revealed the first look at Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story.
The director stepped onto the set of the project almost three weeks ago and began trolling fans instantly. After a few images that didn’t reveal much, Howard shared the first look at Chewbacca yesterday and has now given us a look at Glover through the monitor while in costume inside the cockpit of the fastest ship in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon. The film is set to chronicle the young Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich, from years of 18-24 in his life and will include meeting Chewbacca and finding (or perhaps winning) the Millennium Falcon.

The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story has been written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo along with Joonas Suotomo as Chewbacca and Donald Glover as the young Lando Calrissian. The cast also includes Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Michael K. Williams, and Ian Kenny.
The Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story is currently slated for release on May 25, 2018.
