WARNING: This article contains SPOILERS for the 100th episode of The Flash.

The Flash midseason finale gave fans an epic reveals that Nora West was working with one of Barry’s greatest enemies sometime in the future.

Recently in The CW’s The Flash, the speedsters have been doing a scavenger hunt through time to build a device needed to stop Cicada. This has brought the heroes to such memorable foes as Zoom and Savitar. But the final reveal in the 100th episode is the most jaw-dropping event the show has ever produced so far.

In the pulse-pounding midseason finale, Nora accesses Gideon in S.T.A.R. Labs’ Time Vault to send notes to an unknown figure. When the AI asks Nora if she would like to attach a message to the notes, the speedster shocks everyone by saying she’s giving the message in person. She then takes off and runs forward in time all the way to a 2049 time period at the Iron Heights Prison. In the cell she approaches sits Harrison Wells, who is really he Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne. The intriguing final scene of The Flash midseason finale raises many questions and fans everywhere will be speculating wildly until the show returns.
