Black Widow star Florence Pugh has received her very own Hawkeye poster!
Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye series has been filled with various twists and turns but perhaps the most exciting one was seeing Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova make her small screen debut. Belova sprung onto the scene in the fourth episode of the series when she battled Hawkeye on a rooftop near Maya Lopez’s apartment. It turned out that Belova was hired by a key Marvel villain and Kate Bishop’s mother, Eleanor, to take down Clint Barton.
The last time we saw Florence Pugh’s character was in Black Widow, where she made her MCU debut. As Natasha Romanoff’s surrogate sister, Yelena Belova was tasked at the end of the film in a post-credits stinger to take down Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. Now that the Black Widow has finally made it stateside, she’s following through on her plans.
With the character set to return in the upcoming finale, Marvel Studios has revealed a brand character for Florence Pugh’s deadly Black Widow.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh also returned in her Black Widow role.
The first five episodes of Hawkeye are now available to stream on Disney Plus, with new episodes dropping on Wednesdays. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the Jeremy Renner series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
