Fomer Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has shared his thoughts on the latest episode of She-Hulk featuring Charlie Cox.
She-Hulk episode eight featured the long-awaited return of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, with the actor suiting up as the Man Without Fear after reprising his role as Matt Murdock in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. The series showed a lighter take on Daredevil than the one seen in Netflix’s Marvel series, something that’s drawn quite a bit of criticism from fans of the character.
The Daredevil showrunner enjoyed Daredevil’s She-Hulk appearance
Steven S. DeKnight took to his personal Twitter page to drop a few comments on the new She-Hulk episode, praising the chemistry between Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters. DeKnight also defended She-Hulk‘s take on Daredevil, saying that comic books have shown that there are several different ways to write the character.
Steven S. DeKnight was the original showruner of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. He took up the reins of Daredevil after Drew Goddard stepped away from the series to focus on a Sinister Six movie at Sony Pictures. DeKnight was replaced by Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez for Daredevil season two.
