Following the news Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will be joining the MCU, Wanda Maximoff actress Elizabeth Olsen has revealed she would like to team up with Michael Fassbender’s Magneto.

It was recently revealed that Deadpool 3, which brings Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth into the MCU, would feature the return of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. With the X-Men steadily advancing into the MCU, Elizabeth Olsen revealed she would like to explore Wanda Maximoff’s connections to the mutant team.

In the comics, Wanda is the daughter of Magneto and Olsen is apparently eager to have the characters’ relationship play a role in the MCU’s future.

Elizabeth Olsen On The MCU’s X-Men

Speaking recently to Variety, Elizabeth Olsen touched upon the imminent arrival of the X-Men in the MCU and said she would like to see Michael Fassbender’s Magneto appear as Wanda’s father in one of the many realities of the Multiverse.

Asked about Wolverine’s imminent return and any characters from across the Multiverse she would like to interact with, Elizabeth Olsen looked to the world of the X-Men and singled out Magneto as a strong contender. “I think [Michael] Fassbender is my dad in some world?” she said in reference to their characters’ comic book history.

Wanda was last seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she appeared to sacrifice her life to save the Multiverse from the corrupting magic of the Darkhold. However, her death was left conveniently off-screen. And even if Wanda met her demise in that film, anything is possible in the Multiverse…
