An Easter egg in the Battle Pass menu teases a future Fortnite Avengers crossover that ties directly into the comics.
Fortnite players think they’ve found a tease to a future Marvel crossover thanks to the Battle Pass menu, which shows off a page from one of the most recent Thor comics by Donny Cates and Nick Klein. The new series sees the God of Thunder become the Herald of Galactus as a terrifying new threat called the Black Winter threatens the existence of the multiverse. The new Easter egg seems to imply that players with the Battle Pass will get a Fortnite Avengers crossover in the near future. Most recently, Fortnite players found a tease to Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, implying a crossover with the science-fiction thriller is also on its way.
The new Avengers Fortnite reference was discovered by ‘metalbelmont’ on Twitter and posted by ‘HYPEX’, it shows an explosive page from Donny Cates’ Thor run, focusing on Thor’s stunning new costume as Galactus’ Herald. Does that mean this version of the hero will be playable soon? Or will Galactus threaten to eat the world of the game? It also gives way to a brilliant Marvel DC crossover, since Aquaman is also available in Fortnite. Take a look at the Avengers Fortnite tease below.
