During an interview with Larry King, Frank Grillo shared his thoughts on Chris Evans’ pending retirement from the role of Captain America.
When Chris Evans shared a farewell message to announce that he completed filming the fourth Avengers film, many surprised fans took the social media post as a sign that Evans was retiring from the Captain America role after the Infinity War sequel. Frank Grillo, on the other hand, explained that he was not surprised to that Evans will hang up the Captain America shield:
“No, no. That ran its course, and those guys are all getting a bit old.”
Grillo also fondly reflected on his experience working with Chris Evans:
“I love him. He’s a great guy. He’s a Boston kid. He’s a lovely, lovely man.
