With a familiar pose showing up in the recent Deadpool 2 trailer, Gal Gadot went to Instagram to mock the use of the pose.

After the release of Wonder Woman, it seemed as though crossing one’s arms in the shape of an ‘X’ could only ever be associated with the princess of Themyscira from that point on. In a recent Deadpool 2 trailer, however, showed Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) performing a similar pose to show the name of his new team. Taking to Instagram, Gadot, who was the lead actress in Wonder Woman, went on to tease the pose and joking that they stole it from her.

While the post is clearly playful teasing, it’s nice to see the actors of such different characters from such different companies interacting in a nice way.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

Directed by David Leitch, the film stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al,  and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy and Shioli Kutsuna join the cast in undisclosed roles.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 18, 2018.
