Did Zack Snyder find the perfect Wonder Woman? The director shares a new video as Gal Gadot during the process of filming Batman V. Superman.
Due to the mess that happened surrounding the DC Universe when Zack Snyder was in charge, there really wasn’t any one “face” of the franchise. However, if there was any one who could be nominated, it would be Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Despite being one of the most controversial castings in the franchise, she managed to appear in 7 movies across the universe, more than any other hero.
As such, it’s been odd that Gal Gadot (and by extension, Wonder Woman) has been completely absent from Zack Snyder’s recent dump of images from his time in the DC Universe. While the heroine only appeared in two projects directed by him, he was the person to give Gadot the role in Batman V. Superman, intrinsically tying him to the character.
Wonder Woman’s Clash Is Pure Class
Luckily, it seems this absence has been rectified in the most recent post from Zack Snyder. The director shared a behind-the-scenes video from the production of Batman V. Superman. In it, Gal Gadot can be seen doing Wonder Woman’s iconic gauntlet clash in the first suit that she wore as the beloved heroine.
While it’s not likely that Gal Gadot will ever take up the gauntlets again on the silver screen, it’s undeniable that she left her mark on superhero history thanks to her role as Wonder Woman. And given just how much Zack Snyder seems to document the process of filmmaking, it’s likely that more BTS images from Batman V. Superman will be out in short order!
