Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju announced that he has fully recovered from the coronavirus.
Since the coronavirus pandemic started, several well-known celebrities who tested positive for the virus have used social media to share their experience with the public. Among those celebrities is actor Kristofer Hivju, best known for his role as Tormund Giantsbane in HBO’s Game of Thrones, who announced he tested positive for the coronavirus in mid-March.
Now, Kristofer Hivju has taken to his official Instagram account to reveal his has fully recovered from the coronavirus after weeks in quarantine. In the post, Kristofer Hivju stated that he was fortunate enough to only have mild symptoms and sent love to everyone affected by the pandemic:
“We are fully recovered and in good health after I was infected by the Cororonavirus, and most likely my wife @grymolvaerhivju. After several weeks inn quarantine, and also a couple more indoors after beeing free of all symptoms, we are finally safe and sound. We were lucky to only have mild symptoms of the Covid 19. We send our love and thoughts to all of the people where the virus has hit much harder, and to everyone who has lost their loved ones due to the Cornonavirus.”
