Geoff Johns and Jon Berg will reportedly not be involved with Zack Snyder’s Justice League HBO Max miniseries as producers.
It’s no secret the first round of additional photography for Justice League was hectic as Joss Whedon stepped in and reshot the majority of the movie. Cyborg actor Ray Fisher also hasn’t been shy about the behavior of producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg in many ways. With the Justice League project back in the hands of Zack Snyder, there’s been questions on whether the old guard is still involved with the miniseries.
The Hollywood Reporter dropped a few key details about the current reshoots Zack Snyder is conducting such as the involvement of Jared Leto and Amber Heard. The report also goes onto say that Geoff Johns and Jon Berg are no longer involved with the latest iteration of the Justice League film as producers:
“Sources close to Berg and Johns have confirmed the duo’s intention to remove their names from the Snyder Cut since they did not work on this version and are no longer studio executives. The sources also say the move pays respect to Snyder’s creative vision and the additional photography shoot.”
