Scott Lang makes his return as Giant-Man in a new television spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The sneak peek shows Ant-Man transforming into Giant-Man for the first time since the character had to fight Thanos and his forces during the events of Avengers: Endgame, teasing the strength of Kang the Conqueror, the main villain of Quantumania. Check it out below.
In the comics, Kang is a time-traveling villain who seeks to conquer and enslave entire civilizations. It’s unclear exactly how the character will be adapted for the big screen, but it’s likely that he will pose a significant threat to Ant-Man and other superheroes before his return in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and more Marvel Cinematic Universe projects.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was recently rated PG-13 and is tracking for a four-day opening weekend north of $120 million. The last Marvel Studios release, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, opened to $181.3M, in line with pre-release projections.
