‘Godzilla: King Of Monsters’ Organization Gives Monster Position Updates

Kong Fast Furious 9 Rodan Mothra Godzilla King of the Monsters Trailer

In a recent series of posts, the Twitter account from the Monarch organization has posted a series of updates regarding the location of the Kaiju monster, Godzilla.

In the series of Tweets, the fictional organization posted where Godzilla had previously been spotted. The first post seemed almost panicked as the organization had seemingly lost track of the monster and posted the coordinates of where he had last been seen:

[X] MONARCH ALERT: GODZILLA OFFLINE. LAST KNOWN COORDINATES, LAT:26.101 LON:169.430

It then went on to report that the iconic Kaiju was in the Sea of Okhotsk after their systems went back online:

[X] MONARCH ALERT: GODZILLA ONLINE. SPECIMEN IN THE SEA OF OKHOTSK.

It then ended with monster apparently en route to an island that is believed to have been sunk due to global warming. A link to an actual news report about the island’s disappearance was attached to the Tweet:

[X] MONARCH ALERT: Godzilla en route to missing landmass’s last known location. Monarch is deploying tactical response teams to further investigate this geological phenomenon. https://bit.ly/2DDK7ej

Directed by Michael Dougherty, Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., with Ken Watanabe and Ziyi Zhang.

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released in theaters on May 31, 2019.
