First Trailer For ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’ Sees The Kaiju Come To Blows

Let them fight!

Godzilla vs Kong Warner Bros Legendary Monsterverse

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have officially released the first trailer for Godzilla Vs Kong.

The MonsterVerse has been a bit hit or miss. The first Godzilla was met with mixed reactions, but was overall good. Then, Warner Bros. and Legendary hit it out of the park with the Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed Kong: Skull Island. Both films were set in the same universe and the studios announced that they would lead to a massive crossover featuring the Kaiju legends going to-toe-toe, with a sequel to Godzilla, titled King of the Monsters, preceding it.

When Godzilla: King of the Monsters was released it was hit with mostly negative reviews and Warner Bros. and Legendary still pushed forward with the Battle Royale between the two. Godzilla Vs Kong was intended to be released in theaters, but with the ongoing pandemic, it will now be released on HBO Max and in select theaters on March 26, 2021. Now, the studios have given fans their first good look at the highly-anticipated film. Check out the first full trailer below.

“Legends collide in “Godzilla vs. Kong” as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”
