Grant Gustin’s hit DC Comics series The Flash received a new poster for Season 8.
The last episode that aired for Season 8 of The CW’s Arrowverse series The Flash dropped in mid-December. Following a hiatus, the series, which stars Grant Gustin as the titular Scarlet Speedster is set to return with new episodes beginning on Wednesday March 9, 2022.
The upcoming sixth episode of Season 8, titled “Impulsive Excessive Disorder” will be the 157th episode of The Flash, and this new poster highlights Grant Gustin as Barry Allen donning his trademark suit. You can check it out down below:
At the moment, Grant Gustin is reportedly negotiating a lucrative contract for his potential return to The Flash for a Season 9. Currently, the actor’s contract is set to end after completing Season 8, and if he agrees to a deal, he could potentially receive $200,000 per episode in Season 9.
In the meantime, here is a synopsis for the upcoming Episode 806 of The Flash:
“THE FLASH ZOOMS TO WEDNESDAY NIGHTS – Picking up where season 7 left off, after returning home from a visit for their parent’s vow renewal, Bart (guest star Jordan Fisher) and Nora (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy) quickly realize that things are not exactly as they left them. The duo race to repair any fissures in the timeline and restore everything back to the way it is supposed to be.”
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.
