The CW released the official synopsis for the season six finale of Grant Gustin’s The Flash.
Ordinally, a regular television season of The Flash will consist of 22 or 23 episodes and this was the plan for the sixth year of the Grant Gustin series. However, the coronavirus pandemic forced studios to shutdown productions in March, and filming has not been able to resume to date.
Consequently, the sixth season of The Flash will be shorter this year and the nineteenth episode will now serve as the season finale. Now, The CW has released the official synopsis for the finale episode of this season and you can read it here:
“THE FLASH” SEASON FINALE – Barry (Grant Gustin) considers a risky plan to save Iris (Candice Patton) from the Mirrorverse. Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) attempts to stop Sue (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss) from making a grave mistake that could destroy her life. Phil Chipera directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Barnett.
