‘Green Arrow And The Canaries’ Spinoff Still Alive At The CW

Green Arrow The Canaries The CW Arrowverse

Green Arrow and the Canaries is still very much alive at The CW.

It appears that there is still some hope left for the female-focused Arrow spin-off series Green Arrow and the Canaries. After months of not knowing if the series would be picked up, The CW President Mark Pedowitz has revealed that Green Arrow and the Canaries is still “very much alive” at the network. During a call that revealed The CW’s upcoming schedule, Pedowitz had this to say about the series:

They are very much in active discussions to see what we can do. I’ve had many discussions with Warner Bros, we have a strategy involved, hopefully we can pull it off,” he said on a call to discuss the network’s fall and 2021 schedule.

Green Arrow and the Canaries is set in the distant future of the Arrowverse and sees Mia Queen team up with Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake after the return of the mysterious Deathstroke gang. The future has been changed by the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths and the only people that remember the alternate timeline are our heroes… or so they think.
