Armie Hammer Suits Up As The DCEU’s Green Lantern In Cool New Fan Art

Armie Hammer Green Lantern DCEU Hal Jordan

New artwork reveals what The Lone Ranger star Armie Hammer could look like as Green Lantern for the DCEU.

With the DCEU finally propelled to the level of success Warner Bros. executives wanted with hits like Aquaman, Shazam! and Wonder Woman, we’re bound to eventually see Green Lantern join the franchise. A fan-favorite for the role of Green Lantern is Armie Hammer, who was once set to play Batman in George Miller’s Justice League: Mortal. However, since that didn’t work out, fans have been hoping Armie Hammer can take on the character of Green Lantern for the DCEU. Now, digital artist Jakub Maslowski has shared a piece of fan art that imagines Armie Hammer as Green Lantern for the DCEU, with the actor in full costume as the DC Comics hero.

In the artwork, Armie Hammer is clearly portrayed as Hal Jordan. Arguably the most famous Green Lantern, Hal Jordan was brought to life by Ryan Reynolds in the critically-maligned live-action Green Lantern film. While there isn’t any indication that Armie Hammer will portray Green Lantern in the DCEU, it certainly would be an inspired choice considering he does fit the visual look of the character.
