The Superman cast isn’t done filming quite yet! The actors for Green Lantern and Hawkgirl have been spotted arriving in Cleveland for the ongoing shoot.
One of the actors fans have been most interested in seeing on the set of Superman is Nathan Fillion. Ever since he was cast as Guy Gardner, people have been wondering what exactly the actor’s costume would look like. While it’s not clear yet, the Green Lantern actor has arrived on set, suggesting he may be seen floating up, up and away fairly soon.
Green Lantern has had an infamous cinematic run, with Ryan Reynolds’ take on the character having a terrible CGI costume. It’ll be interesting to see if Nathan Fillion dons a practical suit for Guy Gardner, or if James Gunn will go the practical route for Superman. Either way, fans are hoping the costume designer busts out that bowl for a haircut!
Hawkgirl Lands In Cleveland
Nathan Fillion isn’t the only actor arriving on the set of Superman. Joining the Green Lantern is Isabela Merced, who has been cast as Hawkgirl in the upcoming film. The actress shared a photo of herself in Cleveland, suggesting that she’ll be filming her scenes sometime soon.
Details about Isabela Merced’s character have been kept close to the chest. While James Gunn did reveal that she’ll be playing the Kendra Saunders version of Hawkgirl in Superman, almost nothing about her costume has been shown off. Let’s hope that changes once she arrives on set!
